In Ochla village there is a Museum of Ethnography where over 60 monuments of countryside architecture can be found (scattered across a 13ha area). It’s a charming place where, from the very entrance, one can feel as in the old-time countryside. In the antique houses old furniture, appliances, traditional clothes and fabrics have been displayed.
The museum has about 3,000 exhibits from the Middle Ages to modern times.
Among the many exhibits are collections: heavy weapons and military hardware, and a collection of aviation equipment. Collections are located in nearly 4 acres of parkland and historic palace . Lubusz military museum has many unique exhibits such as the Russian self-propelled guns SU -152 1943 and the single-seat jet Polish TS- 11 " Iskra ". The military museum is a " military Skansen " showing the history of fortifications Lubusz Land in the twentieth century.
The exposition is located in the cellar of the Lubuska Land Museum.
Except for the exhibits of replicas of medieval and modern torture tools there are also graphics of an illustrator Robert Jurga. Except for the visual effects depicting the system of executing judgements and torture methods to the visitor there are also sound effects: readings of judgements and moans of convicts.
The first excavation works in the Złoty Stok area had already been conducted about 2000 years BC. Till today over 300km of galleries, wells and roadways located on 21 levels have been hollowed. During the time of extraction that is for over 700 years, over 16 tons of pure gold have been extracted in the mines of Złoty Stok.
