The settlement already existed in the medieval times. Since the beginning of XIX century there have been metallurgical furnaces in Małomice using easily accessible in the vicinity meadow ore.
In the 70’s of XIX century “Maria” works was set up and in 1898 a pottery manufacture was opened.
Nowadays the town is an industrial facility, it has a water- power plant on a river.
Głogów is one of the oldest polish cities (it was first set up in X century).
Unfortunately during II WW most of the city has been destroyed. The city is still being rebuilt.
Town known for its health resorts. During World War Two it was not damaged at all and therefore it has a lot of monuments which, unfortunately, nowadays are becoming more and more desolate.
On the 27 July 2013 in Drzeniów there was a family fete for a honourable purpose: money collected during the fete has been given to the renovation of the roof and walls of Nowa Rola church.
The fete has started with a mess, after there was a football championship. Additional attractions included truck driver efficiency challenges, local musicians concerts, motorcycle parade of the lubuskie province club “Boxer”, auctions of items (including a piglet).
The town has many of monuments (church, cementary, houses and guest-houses).
Szklarska Poręba is a pro-touristic town: one can find cycling and hiking paths there as well as many restaurants and overnight facilities.
The town is mainly known for the cult comedy “Sami Swoi”, which has been realized in Lubomierz.
It is the smallest town in Dolnośląskie Provice but it can pride on many beautiful monuments.

In Nowa Jabłonna is a historic church of St. Jadwiga, built in the fifteenth century.
The first excavation works in the Złoty Stok area had already been conducted about 2000 years BC. Till today over 300km of galleries, wells and roadways located on 21 levels have been hollowed. During the time of extraction that is for over 700 years, over 16 tons of pure gold have been extracted in the mines of Złoty Stok.
The church was buit in 1082 and rebuilt with stones in XIV century. The church conceals a renaissance altar and baroque accessories. The church is surrounded with a stone wall with a XV century bell tower slightly heightened in XIX century.
