Late baroque palace built in 1783 for the family von Konobelsdorf and rebuilt in 1842.
To the palace complex are outbuildings of the first half of the nineteenth century and classicist outbuilding of 1801.
Around the palace is a beautiful landscaped park founded in the early nineteenth century.
Currently, at the Palace in Henryków hotel is located.
Sight-seeing the surroundings of Szprotawa we visited the Wiechlice Palace (nowadays a hotel). In the lobby we saw photographs of the palace from before the renovation – it was a ruin. I decided to look up at least a small part of its history.
In Kamienna is a historic Neo-Gothic church built in 1923 next to a plaque commemorating the martyrdom of 75 Polish people executed in 1944 by the German occupiers, and the church is against the Railwaymen's Square with the monument of the inscription: "In the fifteenth anniversary of independence in remembrance recovery of sea railwaymen 1933 ".
On the night of Christmas Eve (December 24) night we decided to take advantage of the opportunity that the Old Town is very few people and we take pictures.

Gallery Florist presented beautiful ideas for winter interior design. Refreshments prepared Palace Henryków . Another attraction was the avant-garde fashion show Maja Pawłowska-Geber.

In the village Gościeszowice is a historic Gothic church built in the second half XIII century. Surrounded by a wall with the historic gate. For late-Gothic tower of the church was built, and the Classicist chapel burial (about 1800 years) with wmurowanymi the wall renaissance tombstones.
The church has a shoulder pulpit, altar in the form of a triptych of 1505 r, the choir from 1592

The palace was built for the Promnitz family in 1670-1674. A Sas minister Henryk von Brühl bought Brody in 1740 and developed the town, the park and the palace (1741-1749).
The palace was set on fire in 1758 and the garden surrounding it was devastated. The whole complex became the property of the Prussian rulers. Fryderyk August von Brühl (Henryk’s son) had regained the palace and rebuilt it.
National holiday celebrated on 11 November to commemorate Poland's regaining independence in 1918, after 123 years of partitions Polish made by Russia, Prussia and Austria-Hungary.
To commemorate the independence Poles hang out flag, and cities are organized official celebration.

It is a religious feast celebrated on 1st November in the honour of all Saints.
2nd November is an All Souls’ Day also known as “The Day of the Dead”. It’s the day of prayers for people who passed away (relatives, acquaintances, unknown people buried in cemeteries). On this day religious people visit cemeteries in order to pray, they put gravelights and flowers on graves.
In Poland, due to the fact that only the 1st of November is a Bank Holiday, it is this day Polish people visit the graves of their relatives.
